Celebration of five years of the establishment of Chitalishte Drastar-2012 is a focus in the working program for 2017 . The program was created in accordance with the Statute and was presented to the Mayor of of Silistra.
The 2017 annual program envisaged the
main festive event would be on 24 of April, 2017 with a a gala concert
performance featuring amateur performers and guests from partner
organization from Silistra region and the country.
In addition the program for 2017 envisages development of amateur artistic creativity by expanding the groups and ensembles and active participation in competitions at local and
regional holidays and festivals. Participation of international events are planned if the budget is available.
In 2017 Chittalishte Drastar-2012 will
operate with a budget of 1.75 subsidized units. One subsidized unit allocates finances for culture activities and salaries, wages and
other payments to staff contributions and support, and resources according to the
health and safety at work. Compared to 2016 the budget for 1 subsidized unit has increased by BGN 220 up to BGN 7 300.00 according to the Law on State Budget for
2017.
The Chittalishte Drastar-2012 will work
purposefully to restore festive and ritual calendar and local traditions and customs,
rituals, livelihood and others. in the direction of extension of the
established themed holidays in the municipality. This will be our contribution
to the protection of folklore and traditional folk wealth and creating
conditions and opportunities for their development and dissemination through
all possible forms.
