Versinaj.bg: Ilia Dobrev (Bulgaria, Silistra) became champion of Slovenia in ballroom dancing

The dance pair Anna Mesec (Slovenia) & Iliya Dobrev (Bulgaria, Silistra) became champion of the Republic of Slovenia ended there local national championship. 

Second place talented representatives of ballroom dancing is in adults in the category "standard". Bulgarian-Slovenian pair trained in Ljubljana recently successfully participated in the international tournament in Ruse, finishing his career with dignity youth with first place at this first participation in the Bulgarian audience.

Iliya Dobrev and Ana Mesec started dancing together in 2016 (March) as Youth Currently they are registered as a couple in Slovenia. They dance in Youth. Their first competition was in Slovenia - Ljubljana on 2016 (April). So far their best mark is getting into 1 in the WDSF Youth Open Standard (WDSF Open Ruse 2016 in Bulgaria - Ruse on Saturday, 03 December 2016). 
Talented Dobrev  has nearly 100 medals in the lower age group in competitions at home and abroad with his previous partner - Ms Adriana Angelova from Silistra and Ms Ventsislava Bormaliyska from Velingrad. His biggest achievement so far is the semi-finals of the World Cup in Kiev at the end of 2015. The duo Adriana Angelova - Ilia Dobrev was two years in a row the first dozens of The best athletes of Silistra - in 2009 and 2010.

Celebration of 5 years of the establishment of Chitalishte Drastar-2012 is a focus in 2017

Celebration of five years of the establishment of  Chitalishte Drastar-2012 is a focus in the working program for 2017 . The program was created in accordance with the Statute and was presented to the Mayor of of Silistra. 

The 2017 annual program envisaged  the main festive event would be on 24 of April, 2017 with a a gala concert performance featuring amateur performers and guests from partner organization from Silistra region and the country.

In addition the program for 2017 envisages development of amateur artistic creativity by expanding the groups and ensembles and active participation in competitions at local and regional holidays and festivals. Participation of international events are planned if the budget is available. 

In 2017 Chittalishte Drastar-2012 will operate with a budget of 1.75 subsidized units. One subsidized unit allocates finances for culture activities and salaries, wages and other payments to staff contributions and support, and resources according to the health and safety at work. Compared to 2016 the budget for 1 subsidized unit has increased by BGN 220 up to BGN 7 300.00 according to the Law on State Budget for 2017. 

The Chittalishte Drastar-2012 will work purposefully to restore festive and ritual calendar and local traditions and customs, rituals, livelihood and others. in the direction of extension of the established themed holidays in the municipality. This will be our contribution to the protection of folklore and traditional folk wealth and creating conditions and opportunities for their development and dissemination through all possible forms.

Worthy presentation of Mr Gabriel Georgiev - MS Georgette Iskreva - a dance pair from "Elegance" Club for modern and contemporary dances

The young dancing pair Mr Gabriel Georgiev - MS Georgette Iskreva from "Elegance" Club for modern and contemporary  dances took 5th place on a race in the Shumen XVI open republican tournament Dance Sport Cup Shumen '2016 on October 22, 2016. 

This brings them a valuable point to move into a higher class in ballroom dances. Head of RRC "Elegance" Mr Plamen Savov said he expects a strong season for its students.

The couple took part in the tournament along with 250 racing dancers from Dobrich, Varna, Burgas, Ruse, Sofia, Pleven, Razgrad, Sliven, Shumen, Pomorie and Troyan, divided into six age groups.

Organizers of the event were the Municipality of Shumen, Bulgarian Dance Sport Federation, Youth House and the sport dance club "Fairy Dance". The tournament was held under the patronage of the Mayor of Shumen Mr Lyubomir Hristov.

Besides Gabriel Milenov Georgiev and Georgette Dobrinova Iskreva (Class 13F) for teh Club "Elegance" compete more couples: Martin Rossenov Zhechev and Siana Roumenova Vassileva (Class 13D) and Evgeni Atanasov Rachev and Violeta Ivanova Valentinova (Class 18D).
