Under

lyre in hand, and surrounded by a large group of animals, holding their
breath becouse of the wonderful melodies. The scene is flanked by two columns with Corinthian capitals, on which are represented the Egyptian gods Isis and Serapis. The clock has encoded three feasts. The
first is connected with the release of the boat of god Serapis in
the water, which marks the beginning of the navigation of the Danube. The
second feast is associated with the god of the sea Neptune and his
soldiers as representatives of 11 Claudius The legion is among the
founders of Durostorum. The soldiers were carrying copies, on top of that had a coat of arms with the image of Neptune. The third feast is associated with the removal of the boat Serapis, which marks the end of navigation on the Danube. This watch is unique among solar watches of the Roman Empire.
