A lot of awards for Chiltalishte Drastar-2012 at "Sea of Rhythms" Festival in Balchik '2016

Two first places and statuettes for excellent performances happy and satisfied returned two formations of Chiltalishte Drastar-2012 from the National Folklore Festival "Sea of ​​rhythms'' Balchik '2016.








In the youngest age group of "folklore" the children of the Ensemble "Drastar" had no competition among the participants and grabbed the first prize - a trophy and a cash prize. 

Among the "clubs" of amateur club dances the Folklor club "Drastar" played a 'Romanian dance' and "Pravo horo and Opas" and was also awarded a trophy and a cash prize for first place, shared with other two clubs.

Both formations were given vouchers by MakFolk Association, organizer of the Folklore Festival all over the Europe for preferential participation in their festivals in choice. Vouchers received also all awarded festival participants.

The choreographer of both folklore formations - Mr Dimitar Djambazov receive an individual prize for achievements in choreographic work. For "Best Choreographer" the Jury of the Festival awarded Mr Magardich Asthigyan, choreographer of the folklore ensemble "Zora" from city of Rousse.

In 2016 the participants in the festival "Sea of ​​rhythms" were over 1,700, divided into 4 categories: folklore, folklore, professionals and clubs folk. The event has a competition and was organized by the Association "For Balchik" with the support of the Municipality of Balchik under the patronage of the mayor Mr Nikolai Angelov.

The performances were judged by a jury chaired by prof. Daniela Geneva - Deputy Rector of the Plovdiv Academy of Music and Dance Arts and members:
- Prof. Anton Andonov, from the Department "Choreography" at the Plovdiv Academy of Arts,  
- Denislav Kehaiov - folk singer and director of professional folklore ensemble "Pirin" Blagoevgrad
- Prof. Nikolay Nikov - Doctor of Music and Dance.
