The Dobrudzha's Folklor Festival - for 1st time in Catalunya, Spain

"It is nicely, mother, it does me good, father, in Dobrudzha to go through it" 

It was the motto of the first Dobrudzha's community of the Bulgarians living in Spain Festival hold on September 29, 2018 in Lerida, Catalonia Province, Spain.
On a special stage in the Serrallarga town park in Lerida appeared over 450 individual performers and folklore groups and formations with performances from the Bulgarian Dobrudzha region. The day before the meeting - on September 28, participants took part in a holiday gala on the occasion of the local Saint Miguel feast. Bulgarian people and dancers filled the streets of San Francesc square in front of the local cathedral  - Catedrala Nueva). The "Bulgarian" event coincided with the city's celebration and was  included in the cultural program of the celebrations.
Special guests were the three Dobrudzha' region Mayors - of the Municipalities of Dobrich, Silistra and Devnya - Mr Yordan Yordanov, Dr. Julian Naydenov and Mr Svilen Khitov. The  Mayors attended the official meetings with their colleagues from the towns of Lerida and Fraga. 
Among the participants in the Festival were the dancers from Dobrudzha Ensemble of the Municipality of Silistra with their chief artistic director Dimitar Dzhamazabov. Among the special feast guests were the musicians from the "Izvor" Orchestra of Dobrich, headed by Petar Gochev, famous Dobrudzha acordionist. The "Izvor" Orchestra played for the good mood of the Festival participants and the guests.
The Association Balkan Rhythms - Tempo and Mrs Miglena Krivcheva were the leading organizers of the event with the Bulgarian community in the cities of Lerida, Fragga and Alcarras, Spain.  
In 2019 in Lerida will be orgazanized the Second Dobrudzha's Festival.
